Wayne County Bands

We are the Wayne County Bands from Waynesboro, Mississippi.  Our band program consists of students in grades 6-12 at Beat Four, Buckatunna, Clara, Waynesboro Middle and Wayne County High School.   

Band Boosters will meet at 6:00pm on Tuesday, February 2 in the WCHS Band Hall. 

We face tough times with the continued cuts to the education budget being handed down by Gov. Barbour.  Keep up with what's happening in Jackson by following this link.  MS Parent's Campaign.  This is your school district and education system.  Please make plans to attend all school board meetings held the first Monday of each month at 5:00pm in the school district offices.

The All-District Band Clinic will be held on February 5-6 at JCJC.  Here is the schedule.

The HS Band will participate in the Black History program at WCHS on Wednesday, February 3.  The program will begin at 8:30am.

The HS Band will participate in the JCJC Concert Band Pre-Fest on Tuesday, Feruary 23.  We have not yet received a performance time.

HS Band Rehearsal Reminders:

3:05pm to 4:00pm

Percussion on Monday each week.  Jazz Band on Tuesday each week and Brass/WW's on Wednesday each week.
